Cynomi expands MSP and MSSP platform with new vulnerability management features

Cynomi has introduced new integrations, automated scanning capabilities, a centralised document repository, and enhanced AI features aimed at improving vulnerability management, compliance workflows, and operational efficiency for MSPs and MSSPs.

Cynomi has announced an update to its cybersecurity platform designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs). The release expands its existing capabilities with new features focused on vulnerability management and operational efficiency.

The update includes seven new integrations with vulnerability management platforms, automated scheduled scanning, a centralised Files Repository, and enhanced AI Coworker capabilities. These additions are intended to help MSPs and MSSPs streamline security governance workflows and manage services across multiple client environments more efficiently.

As cybersecurity requirements continue to evolve, managing vulnerabilities across growing client portfolios can require significant operational effort. MSPs often spend considerable time on manual tasks such as initiating scans and preparing compliance documentation, which can reduce the time available for strategic activities.

Cynomi integrates with platforms including Tenable, Rapid7 InsightVM, CrowdStrike Falcon Spotlight, and others. The platform combines scan data, remediation processes, and compliance workflows within a single operational framework.

The new Scheduled Scans feature automates recurring assessments of client security environments, helping partners maintain regular review cycles. This functionality supports compliance frameworks such as CMMC and CIS Controls by enabling assessments to be conducted consistently without requiring manual initiation.

The centralised Files Repository provides a location for organising client-related documents, including reports and compliance records, which can support audit preparation and document management.

Cynomi states that its intelligence capabilities are designed to convert vulnerability data into actionable insights through prioritised remediation, compliance guidance, and governance workflows supported by AI-driven tools. The platform aims to help service providers develop ongoing security programs while reducing manual administration.

The company positions its platform as supporting multiple stages of the cybersecurity lifecycle, including continuous monitoring, remediation, and security service delivery within a multi-tenant environment intended for channel partners.

According to Cynomi, the release reflects its continued focus on expanding platform capabilities for MSPs and MSSPs seeking to enhance security governance and operational efficiency.
