Infosecurity Europe, a platform focused on information security solutions, presented its inaugural Cyber Startup Award to Konvu at the event held from 2–4 June 2026 at ExCeL London. Konvu was recognised for its AI-native vulnerability management platform and was selected as the winner among participating cybersecurity startups.
Five startups presented their solutions as part of the competition. The finalists included Cytidel, which focuses on vulnerability management intelligence; Datambit Limited, which develops deepfake detection technology; Ploy, which works on agentic access intelligence; and RedCarbon, which focuses on alert and false positive management. The presentations were attended by senior leaders, investors, and buyers from the cybersecurity sector.
A panel of judges from the cybersecurity industry evaluated the entries. Shlomo Kramer was among those who announced Konvu as the winner, referring to the platform’s approach and its potential impact on security operations. The judges also noted Konvu’s platform strategy and its focus on addressing specific market needs.
The event reflected ongoing industry priorities around improving speed and scalability in security operations as organisations respond to evolving challenges. Konvu, led by CEO Lucas Masson, focuses on accelerating the vulnerability management process through the use of AI agents aimed at improving efficiency in threat mitigation.
Infosecurity Europe’s Cyber Startup Programme is designed to support cybersecurity startups by facilitating connections between founders, investors, and other ecosystem participants. The programme includes a dedicated exhibition area, conference content, a live competition, and networking opportunities.
A central feature of the programme is the Cyber Startups Zone, where startups present their solutions and engage with potential partners and investors. The initiative is intended to support companies at different stages of development and assist with market entry and growth.
The prize package includes a free exhibition stand at Infosecurity Europe 2027, PR support from Origin Communications, and a branding workshop provided by Dusted brand consultancy.
Mun Valiji noted the role of the awards in encouraging collaboration within the industry and supporting cybersecurity innovation. The event also provided opportunities for networking and professional engagement among attendees.
