Stellanor Datacenters has announced the appointment of Gary Watson as their new Managing Director. The company's dynamic growth trajectory sees Watson at the helm, driving the next phase of development. Watson's scope covers operational delivery, platform integration, commercial performance, and customer engagement across Stellanor's expansive urban data centre landscape.
Since its inception last September, Stellanor has expanded through the acquisition of eleven data centres, supporting a wide array of national and international enterprise clients. The goal is clear: to meet the burgeoning demand for enterprise-grade colocation and AI-ready infrastructure while upholding superior service standards.
Watson's wealth of experience, spanning over three decades in the data centre and IT infrastructure sectors, is invaluable. His leadership credentials include roles at Keppel DC REIT and Telecity, where he honed skills in platform growth, integration, and operational management.
With Watson now steering Stellanor, the company aims to scale its operations across the UK and Ireland, with future prospects in the Nordics. The focus remains on offering premium service quality and enhancing infrastructure, including advanced cooling systems and increased power density capabilities, which are pivotal for AI and machine learning tasks.
As the organisation continues its upward trajectory, infrastructure improvements are being synchronised to support AI inference and real-time analytics, aiming for no disruption to existing services.
