Pax8 opens Bristol office

Pax8, the leading cloud commerce marketplace, has opened a new office at The Distillery in Bristol, UK, one of the nation’s top tech hubs. The opening of the Bristol office is designed to further propel the significant growth that the business has accomplished over the past two years across EMEA, and provide a state-of-the-art, inclusive space for employees to work comfortably and efficiently.

“It’s such an exciting time for Pax8 as we continue to expand across EMEA,” said John Street, CEO and Founder of Pax8. “Our presence in Bristol has opened so many doors to our success, and those prospects will only continue to grow with our fantastic new office. We also look forward to welcoming our partners and vendors to the space, which will generate further opportunities for collaboration and creativity in the Channel.”

Having achieved 800% growth within one year of setting up operations in the city, Pax8 is committed to hiring and developing local talent within the region, and the new office in The Distillery will champion that as the biggest commercial investment in Bristol for Q2 of this year.

Earlier this year, Pax8 opened a new office in Zwolle, Netherlands, with the same employee-centric philosophy in mind. Pax8’s Bristol office has been designed with employee flexibility as a priority. The office comes equipped with a range of pioneering features, including multipurpose break-out rooms, state- of- the- art boardrooms and spaces designed specifically to support well-being. These amenities will support Pax8’s ethos to encourage diversity in the workplace from recruitment to staff retention.

“Pax8 places a high value on diversity and inclusion at every level of the business,” said Chloe Cameron, Chief People Officer, at Pax8 EMEA. “In the new office, we’re creating an environment to foster a high performing team culture that celebrates the individual, allowing our colleagues to be their authentic selves and perform at their best.”

Earlier this year, Pax8 raised $185 million in new equity capital from investor SoftBank Vision Fund 2, which increased the company’s valuation to $1.7 billion. Pax8’s number of partners is now close to 3,500 within EMEA, after globally cloud-enabling over 350,000 businesses with its award-winning marketplace, education, support, and solutions. The company most recently won the ‘Distributor of the Year’ and ‘Biggest Impact New Partner’ at the 2022 Network Group Exhibition and Gala Awards and has now celebrated over 55 award wins for the business.
