VisueCare?s cloud-based solution is developed to handle sheltered living for elderly and disabled people, enabling easy access to relevant information, better collaboration between staff and improved quality of care.
"The Swedish healthcare and welfare market is a prioritized area for us. This transaction gives us the opportunity to further support our customers in their digitalization journey and reinforce our footprint within the sector, while we can utilize and further develop the many solutions we already have implemented in the Nordic countries", says Cristina Petrescu, Executive Vice President of Public, Healthcare and Welfare, Tieto.
VisueCare was founded in 2014 with the aim to ease everyday work for personnel and create smarter ways of working in the elderly care area. The solution has been developed in close co-operation with elderly care staff and creates opportunities for improved quality and efficiency in health care by visualizing planning and facilitating quality assurance. VisueCare has established collaboration and piloted the solution with some municipalities in Sweden.
"Many customers are facing the dual challenge of running operations more efficiently while at the same time innovating new and improved services for citizens. Elderly care is one area where there is a growing demand for more efficient solutions. This acquisition is one additional step towards strengthening our role in the healthcare and welfare ecosystem", says Cristina Petrescu.
