atNorth, a provider of high-density colocation and built-to-suit data centres in the Nordics, has become a member of the European Data Center Association (EUDCA). The move aligns the company with a not-for-profit industry body representing Europe’s digital infrastructure community and supporting a sustainable digital economy.

Through its membership of the EUDCA, atNorth will collaborate with industry peers on the development of Europe’s digital infrastructure. The collaboration supports atNorth’s focus on sustainable, AI-ready data centres and alignment with European green energy standards, as well as contributing to best practices across the sector.

The EUDCA engages with EU policymakers, supports investment in digital infrastructure, and contributes to the development of regulatory frameworks. As demand for data centre capacity increases, these facilities are viewed as part of Europe’s economic and technological development.

As part of its membership, atNorth will take part in initiatives aligned with its corporate priorities, including:
  • Supporting the competitiveness of Europe’s digital industry
  • Facilitating access to resources for sustainable growth
  • Engaging with policymakers on regulatory development
  • Contributing to industry standards and monitoring frameworks
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives across the data centre ecosystem
Beyond its EUDCA membership, atNorth participates in initiatives such as the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact and the UN Global Compact, and is active in regional data centre associations. The company aims to contribute to environmental targets and support the transition towards lower-carbon digital infrastructure by 2030.
