Bryland Fire Protection make it three in a row at data centre awards

Midlands based Bryland Fire Protection Limited are no strangers to receiving awards in recognition of their industry achievements, and most recently added to the collection by winning the ‘Data Centre Safety, Security and Suppression Product of the Year.’

They were presented with the award at a gala ceremony held on 24th May, St Paul’s Hotel, London. This is the third consecutive year that Bryland Fire Protection have won a prestigious DCS Award and follows on from 2016 and 2017.

Graham Turner, Managing Director stated, ‘We are absolutely delighted. This is the third year of entering and the third year of winning against stiff opposition. I am particularly proud of this for two reasons. The entry is based on submitting a real case study which highlighted our fire protection expertise specifically within the data centre management industry, but was won by people casting their votes. It makes me proud that we not only demonstrated ourselves as innovators in our field, but a popular choice too.’

Chris Wright, Technical Director who also attended the evening added, ’Bryland Fire Protection have been in the industry for over 50 years and synonymous with fire extinguishers historically. That’s what we have been known for traditionally, but we do offer the full suite of services. Our team of dedicated directly employed Project Managers and in-house Design Engineers are unique in the industry. Most recently we added to the portfolio by including a full range of practical and e-learning based training courses.’

This latest award joins others in the company including the Hygood Award for ‘Outstanding sales growth.’ It mirrors the business’ aim of delivering a quality service backed with industry recognised accreditations including BAFE, BSI, Chas, and SMAS.

Bryland Fire Protection offer a UK wide service and only partner with handpicked top quality manufacturers such as Honeywell GENT to ensure they deliver an exceptional customer experience. Much of their business growth has been built via word of mouth referrals and returning customers from a variety of sectors including education, data centre, hotel and leisure, care homes, and waste recycling where they offer a range of bespoke fire suppression, fire alarm, fire extinguishers and training courses.

Graham Turner summed up the evening, ‘We are honored to receive this award. Bryland Fire Protection; industry innovators…. trail blazers……leading the way!’
