Matrix Systems, an access control and security solutions provider with a 35-year reputation built on innovation and customer service, has announced creation of two new strategic channels of business: Frontier and Xentry Systems Integration.

Frontier will focus on delivering the Frontier access control platform and will also invest significant R&D into the design of an integrated enterprise video and access solution, which will be known as the Frontier Integrated Platform. The expanding and widely applicable security management platform will be marketed using a channel model involving a growing list of security integrators, IT resellers and electrical contractors nationwide.
Focusing on integration, Xentry Systems Integration will partner with more than 300 existing Frontier system customers in the Great Lakes and southern Florida regions. Xentry Systems Integration will evolve beyond the existing service business to deliver a broader and more comprehensive range of security integration services to end user customers.

The two entities will deliver enhanced capabilities and technologies to serve their distinct customers and provide the larger Matrix Systems organization with the flexibility to pursue separate yet focused strategies for continued growth. Both businesses will benefit from the company’s seasoned executive team but each will be driven by its own separate management and sales teams.

"This vision comes from listening to our loyal customers and passionate employees," said Holly Tsourides, Chief Executive Officer, Matrix Systems. “Clients want to increase the value of their existing Frontier systems and realize the benefits of integration with other platforms and technologies. Xentry Systems Integration is positioning itself as a premier regional integrator in its direct service areas and is in the process of acquiring the necessary talent and resources to meet this goal.”

Separately, Frontier is actively recruiting new strategic partners nationwide with a goal of building a 100-percent channel sales model in North America by the end of 2014. Xentry will be the exclusive reseller of Frontier solutions in its targeted regional markets.

“Frontier Integrated Platform is designed to be the most compact and seamlessly integrated enterprise-class video surveillance and access solution,” said Jeremy Krinitt, Senior Director of Product Management, Matrix Systems. “Access control has always been the first line of defense in security. We are focused on capitalizing on the core values of our existing technologies while building a more powerful, proactive security solution that meets today’s needs and beyond.”

Frontier Integrated Platform will be available in the third quarter of 2014 exclusively through reseller channels.
