Cordys and Nephos Technology launch Cloud Service Brokerage solution

Cordys and Nephos Technologies have announced a partnership to deliver one of the first Cloud Service Brokerage platforms. The platform will enable organisations to develop, implement and optimise their cloud strategy. Nephos Technologies offer the best independent advice and the right blend of solutions and cloud services enabled by the Cordys Enterprise Cloud Platform.

By reducing the complexity of cloud adoption and combining infrastructure, software and consultancy, Cordys and Nephos will enable organisations to transform their business with federated, aggregated cloud services. The joint offering from Cordys and Nephos will offer organisations a cloud management platform that provides the discovery, provisioning, creation and delivery of high margin, value added services.

At launch Nephos Constellation will provide three core offerings – Cloud Decision Engine, Automated Migration and Cloud Optimisation. These solutions are aggregated within the Cordys Business Operations Platform combining Platform as a Service, cloud integration, orchestration and unified provisioning. These offerings are also underpinned by Cloud Aggregation, Automation and Management from within Nephos Constellation as well.

Cloud Service Brokerage - a $100 billion dollar market
According to the Gartner report Key Findings, “Gartner estimates show that approximately $100 billion will be spent worldwide annually on combined cloud services brokerage (CSB) roles by year-end 2014 and small startup companies are driving much of today's innovation in CSBs and CSB enablement through both technological advances and business consulting practices“ - Cool Vendors in Cloud Services Brokerage, 2013” report published on 18 April 2013 by Tiffani Bova, Daryl C. Plummer, et al.

“Nephos Constellation will enable enterprises and service providers to deploy services in the most appropriate locations (Private/Public/Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure) whilst giving a level of governance, automation and optimisation that isn’t currently available in the market. The main difference in our platform is that it was built on business processes from the ground up, so non-IT staff will be able to use it just as easily – which will mean a truly self service portal” said Michael Queenan, Co-Founder of Nephos Technologies.

Art Landro, CEO of Cordys stated “The combination of the Cordys Enterprise Cloud Platform, the expertise of Nephos Technologies and the ecosystem of cloud providers will simplify the management, delivery and consumption of cloud services which will generate huge value for customers. We're already seeing a lot of uptake in this area across a wide range of service providers from telcos to systems integrators and into the enterprise market"
