G2G3 launches DevOps simulation

G2G3, Capita’s human-centred technology company, has launched its DevOps Simulation for clients and partners.  The simulation focuses on the people aspects of change, highlighting how taking an immersive approach to learning can deliver real results for organisations, enabling them to rapidly accelerate the return on investment of their transformation programmes.

Research has shown that ‘overcoming cultural habits’ is the biggest challenge for DevOps practitioners, followed by ‘lack of experience or understanding of DevOps practises’*. The in-room simulation – aimed at organisations looking to reap the rewards of taking on a DevOps approach – lasts half a day and consists of three group simulation scenarios. By building understanding of DevOps and demonstrating the impact it can have, the simulation turns participants into advocates for change.
Glenn Exton, chief technology officer of G2G3, said: “Large scale transformation programmes always come with serious challenges, and organisations are increasingly looking for new solutions. The adoption of a DevOps people-centric approach helps to break down the silos that contribute to programmes struggling to achieve objectives.  We need to do things differently. The key to success is getting your people on board and that is where our DevOps Simulation really delivers.
“This simulation boosts your chances of successfully transforming your business.  G2G3 helps make your change stick by providing communications and education strategies and designing gamification solutions that ensure staff change their ways of working and sustain that change in the long term.”
Clients – including a world renowned financial services company and a global US based telecommunications company – have already successfully used the G2G3 DevOps Simulation to support their transformation programs, as well as a UK public sector organisation.
