Six Degrees introduces managed SASE service in partnership with Fortinet

Six Degrees unveils a new Managed SASE service to enhance secure connectivity. The service fortifies its link with Fortinet, transforming security offerings in the UK.

Secure, integrated cloud services provider, Six Degrees, has announced the launch of its Managed SASE service. This service, available in three distinct tiers – Essential, Standard, and Advanced – ensures secure and scalable connectivity for users, irrespective of their location.

Further building on Six Degrees’ range of managed SD-WAN and SD-Branch services, Managed SASE incorporates technology from Fortinet, a global leader in cybersecurity. This enhancement not only facilitates seamless adoption for existing SD-WAN clients but also positions Six Degrees as a premier supporter in the full spectrum of the SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solution.

Moreover, Six Degrees has solidified its alliance with Fortinet by gaining the SASE Partner Specialization through the Fortinet Engage Partner Program. As the UK’s exclusive Advanced Partner to receive both SD-WAN and SASE Specializations, the company is excellently positioned to guide clients through their SASE journey—particularly those in tightly regulated sectors such as finance and law—enabling them to unlock the potential of SASE.

Vince DeLuca, CEO of Six Degrees, highlighted the emphasis on embedding security at the foundational level, powered by Fortinet’s underpinning of their SD-WAN and Managed SASE services. This collaboration facilitates delivery of the next generation of secure, high-performance networking across the UK.

Similarly, Stuart Hinge, Product Director of Six Degrees, elaborated on the benefits of their Managed SASE solution. "Our Managed SASE solution, combined with our SD-WAN service, offers a unified SASE platform designed to protect customers' applications, users, and devices across all locations. It provides a single platform and mitigates the need for multiple point products, leading to lower cost of ownership with visibility," he explained.

Chris Briers from Fortinet’s Engage Partner Program reinforced that by achieving the SASE Partner Specialization, Six Degrees has showcased the expertise necessary to become a distinguished partner in the field.
