Pax8 and Inforcer's collaboration enhances AI and security offerings for MSPs

The new collaboration between Pax8 and inforcer aims to allow MSPs to enhance AI security and data governance with Microsoft 365.

Pax8, a company focused on cloud marketplace distribution for managed service providers (MSPs), is set to add inforcer to its Marketplace. The integration is intended to support MSPs in managing services across the Microsoft stack. inforcer is designed to help MSPs deliver services such as identity management, device management, security policy enforcement, and AI readiness to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), particularly those using Microsoft 365 and Copilot.

As SMBs increase adoption of AI tools, MSPs are being asked to provide services that go beyond initial deployment and include ongoing governance and compliance. While reports indicate that 62% of SMBs are currently using AI, 18.5% report extensive use, suggesting a gap between adoption and mature operational use. This has contributed to increased demand for structured approaches to AI governance, security, and compliance.

Inforcer provides tools aimed at standardising Microsoft 365 security and data governance across multiple customer environments. Its platform includes automation for configuration management, real-time compliance monitoring, and detection of configuration or policy drift. These functions are intended to reduce administrative complexity and support consistency in security controls. The platform also supports services such as Copilot readiness assessments and detection of unsanctioned or “shadow” AI usage, which MSPs may use in managing AI-related deployments.

By being available through the Pax8 Marketplace, inforcer can be accessed by MSPs seeking to standardise Microsoft 365 deployment and governance processes. This enables MSPs to package services related to Copilot readiness and managed AI operations.

Inforcer reports working with more than 1,200 MSP partners globally, with increased adoption over the past year driven by demand for Microsoft 365 management and security at scale. The company is based in Richmond, London, and operates internationally, with a focus on tools for managing Microsoft 365 environments and supporting AI-related governance requirements for SMB customers.
