HPE unveils major expansion of cybersecurity and compliance solutions at Black Hat USA

HPE introduces a multi-layered approach to cybersecurity, debuting advanced data and network protection solutions at Black Hat USA.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced substantial enhancements to its cybersecurity, resiliency, and compliance solutions, adopting a comprehensive multi-layered security approach. This announcement was made during its presentation at Black Hat USA, where HPE showcased its robust secure networking solutions.

Taking the lead in network security, HPE has launched a new Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) copilot for its HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect. This AI-driven tool offers deep insights into network activities, identifies security gaps, and ensures robust protection through HPE Aruba Networking Central’s NAC capabilities.

Further strengthening its network security, HPE's enhancements include the extension of zero trust policy enforcement to both HPE Juniper Networking and third-party devices. The proactive defence measures ensure a robust environment for both users and IoT devices, safeguarding enterprises from potential cyber threats.

On the data front, HPE has rolled out its HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000, setting a new benchmark for modern data protection and the fastest enterprise backup storage. The solution provides ultra-fast backup and restore capabilities, crucial for sectors such as healthcare and finance, where quick data recovery is essential.

HPE also introduced the integration hub for HPE Zerto Software, offering seamless connection with third-party cybersecurity solutions. This collaboration allows enterprises to enhance their disaster recovery strategies significantly.

The strategic collaboration between HPE and CrowdStrike highlights a shared commitment to pioneering threat detection and cyber recovery solutions. CrowdStrike's Falcon platform synergises with HPE Zerto Software to facilitate swift restoration of applications, empowering enterprises to minimise downtime and maintain business continuity.

HPE is also focusing on the HPE Cyber Resilience Vault, leveraging a combination of HPE Alletra Storage MP, HPE ProLiant, and HPE Aruba, ensuring an air-gapped zero-trust environment to protect against ransomware.

Highlighting operational simplicity and precision, HPE is set to showcase these innovations at Black Hat USA, post the acquisition of Juniper Networks. This event marks HPE's concerted efforts in unifying AI-powered networking with enhanced data protection to secure hybrid-cloud environments.
