Mimecast welcomes Patrice Perche to its board of directors

Mimecast appoints cybersecurity veteran Patrice Perche to its Board, enhancing its strategic expertise and commitment to innovation.

Mimecast has announced an exciting new addition to its leadership team with the appointment of Patrice Perche to its Board of Directors. Known for its precision-engineered AI solutions, Mimecast is a global leader in cybersecurity, focusing on securing human risks in businesses worldwide.

Patrice Perche brings with him an impressive legacy in the cybersecurity sector. Over nearly two decades, he played a pivotal role at Fortinet, helping to expand the company's revenue from $40 million to $6.5 billion. Previously, he held significant roles, including Chief Revenue Officer and EVP Support, as well as SVP Worldwide Sales & Support at Fortinet. Before his tenure at Fortinet, he co-founded Risc IT Solutions Ltd, where he was president and CEO. Further, Patrice is spearheading his own venture as the founder & CEO of Turini AG, which specializes in providing go-to-market expertise for cybersecurity solutions. 

Marc van Zadelhoff, CEO of Mimecast, expressed confidence in the new board member, highlighting Patrice's expertise in go-to-market strategies and his history of scaling businesses and fostering innovation. "His experience scaling businesses and fostering innovation aligns seamlessly with our vision of securing human risk and reflects our continued investment in global expansion and enterprise market acceleration," noted van Zadelhoff.

Patrice also shared his enthusiasm for joining the company, stating, "Mimecast is at the forefront of securing the human layer of the organization - where today’s cyber threats most often strike." He looks forward to collaborating with Mimecast on their innovative mission focused on the integration of AI with human-centric security strategies.
