Infosecurity Europe, an information security event, is preparing for its 2026 edition with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI), a technology that is influencing developments in cybersecurity. The event will take place from 2–4 June at Excel London and will cover AI’s role in both defensive security applications and as a potential attack vector.
Recent research from Infosecurity Europe’s 2026 Cybersecurity Trends Research indicates that 64% of UK cybersecurity leaders consider Agentic AI the most impactful emerging technology over the next three years. Across Europe, AI is also identified as a leading emerging technology, ahead of areas such as cloud native application protection and quantum computing.
AI is being used in areas such as threat detection, incident response, and behavioural simulation, and is also associated with new types of security risks. These topics will be included in the event programme, which will feature keynote sessions, discussions, and training courses. The OWASP GenAI Security Summit will bring together contributors to discuss research and approaches for securing generative and agentic AI systems.
The programme will also include technical sessions. The SANS Institute will run a workshop titled ‘LLM Mayhem - Hands on Red Teaming LLM Powered Chatbots,’ focusing on techniques used in testing chatbot security. Other sessions will include discussions on AI adoption in cybersecurity, including demonstrations from organisations such as Capsule Security.
The event will also include an AI & Cloud Security Theatre, covering topics such as securing AI-enabled environments and addressing threats including deepfakes and AI-powered phishing.
Exhibitors, including Darktrace, will present developments in AI-related security technologies, including applications in threat detection and response and considerations around GenAI and LLM security.
Infosecurity Europe brings together cybersecurity professionals to discuss developments in the sector and approaches to managing evolving cyber risks.
