STL launches Neuralis data centre connectivity suite in the U.S.

STL has launched Neuralis, a data centre connectivity solution suite, at Data Center World 2026.

STL Optical Connectivity NA, LLC, a U.S. subsidiary of Sterlite Technologies Ltd., has launched its flagship suite of data centre connectivity solutions, Neuralis, at Data Center World 2026 in Washington, D.C.

As artificial intelligence, hyperscale computing, and edge workloads continue to shape the digital landscape, STL Neuralis has been designed as a connectivity portfolio for modern data centres. It is based on concepts inspired by neural networks and is intended to support high-speed processing and connectivity requirements in data centre environments.

Neuralis was developed in collaboration with customers to address space and density challenges in data centre construction. STL states that its presence in the U.S. is intended to support operators in scaling AI-related infrastructure with efficiency and product quality.

Modern AI data centres are increasingly shifting from traditional North-South traffic patterns to more intensive East-West traffic flows, driven by front-end and back-end networks and AI training workloads. Neuralis is designed to support these requirements with an emphasis on scalability and reliability.

Key features of the STL Neuralis suite include:
  • Maximising AI Whitespace: Uses high-density MMC and MPO cabling to support fibre counts required by GPU clusters. Centralising terminations is intended to reduce onsite labour requirements and support faster deployment timelines.
  • High-Speed Data Center Interconnect (DCI): Designed for data centre campus edge environments, supporting large-scale data movement. This includes the Celesta IBR series, featuring compact cables with up to 6,912 rollable ribbon fibres, designed for thermal and safety demands in AI deployments.
The STL Neuralis portfolio integrates multiple stages of connectivity development, including:
  • Ultra-Pure Preform: silica-based glass preform creation
  • Fibre Drawing: precision fibre production
  • Advanced Cabling: integration into the Celesta IBR series
  • Connectorisation: pre-tested, plug-and-play assemblies and related hardware
With its manufacturing facility in Lugoff, South Carolina, STL supports hyperscale and neocloud providers in developing AI-focused infrastructure aligned with requirements of the U.S. digital economy.
