Oracle introduces fusion agentic applications for enterprise software

Oracle has unveiled Fusion Agentic Applications, a suite designed for outcome-driven execution in enterprise environments.

Oracle has introduced a suite of enterprise applications called Fusion Agentic Applications. Built into Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, these solutions are designed to execute decisions within business processes, using securely accessed unified enterprise data, workflows, and transactional context.

Fusion Agentic Applications operate natively within the transactional system, enabling real-time execution with governance controls. Unlike traditional AI add-ons, the applications are integrated within the system to support business processes and outcome-driven operations.

The applications are designed to move enterprise software beyond passive systems by enabling applications to reason, decide, and act in line with defined business objectives. They use coordinated AI agents to support the execution of complex processes.

These applications operate within the Oracle Fusion Applications security framework, managing routine tasks while identifying exceptions that require human review. This approach supports:
  • Outcome-driven execution: Coordinated reasoning across Oracle Fusion Applications to support defined business objectives
  • Shared context: Maintaining history and intent across processes to reduce repetitive input
  • Continuous reasoning: Adjusting actions based on changing conditions to keep processes moving
  • Governance and auditability: Role-based access and traceability to support transparency in decision-making
The Fusion Agentic Applications suite includes capabilities aimed at areas such as payroll processing, supplier sourcing, sales processes, and cash collection. Oracle AI Agent Studio provides tools for developing and extending these applications, allowing organisations to build and manage AI-driven workflows while maintaining operational controls.
