TeamViewer EMEA Partner Summit 2026 in Berlin: Launching TeamViewer One

The EMEA Partner Summit in Berlin on March 10, 2026, explored TeamViewer’s latest platform innovations, AI-driven automation, and tools to support MSPs and hybrid work.

On March 10, 2026, TeamViewer hosted its EMEA Partner Summit at the Axica Congress and Convention Center in Berlin, bringing together industry professionals, partners, and technology specialists from across the region. The event provided a platform to explore TeamViewer’s latest initiatives for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), product developments, and marketing strategies. The venue’s modern conference facilities offered an ideal setting, creating an environment where partners could gain deep insights into TeamViewer’s vision and direction.

The day’s agenda featured keynote presentations, product and strategy discussions, and partner-focused sessions covering TeamViewer’s AI-led roadmap, marketing initiatives for the TeamViewer One platform, and broader perspectives from partners and industry experts. Each session highlighted how TeamViewer is evolving its platform to meet the changing demands of IT service providers, with a focus on supporting remote and hybrid work, improving digital employee experience (DEX), and shifting towards more proactive and predictive practices.

Keynote: Mark Banfield, CRO: accelerating enterprise performance

The summit opened with a keynote by Mark Banfield, Chief Revenue Officer, entitled “Accelerating enterprise performance through productive, secure, and hybrid digital workplaces.” During the session, Banfield emphasised TeamViewer’s approach of “fixed once, fixed forever,” highlighting the company’s focus on moving IT operations away from traditionally reactive support models toward more proactive and predictive ways of working.

A central theme of the talk was shifting left, enabling organisations to identify and resolve issues earlier through automation, visibility, and data-driven insights. Banfield also highlighted the growing role of AI and automation embedded across the platform, not as standalone add-ons but as capabilities integrated throughout TeamViewer’s technology stack to improve efficiency, reduce recurring issues, and support IT teams in managing increasingly complex digital environments.

Sebastian Schrötel, VP Product Management: AI-led strategy for the digital workplace

Following the keynote, Sebastian Schrötel, Vice President of Product Management, presented “How an AI-led strategy helps enterprises and SMBs power their digital workplace.” This technical session provided a deeper dive into the platform, expanding on the keynote and featuring a live demonstration of TeamViewer One (T1), the company’s main platform launch. Schrötel highlighted the multi-tenancy feature, designed specifically for MSPs, which will allow partners to manage multiple client environments more efficiently and at scale.

The session also showcased TeamViewer Intelligent Agent (Tia), the company’s upcoming agentic AI initiative, which aims to support the shift toward predictive and automated IT operations. TeamViewer aims to help IT teams and MSPs proactively detect and resolve issues, streamline workflows, and reduce friction for deskless and frontline workers. Attendees gained insight into how these AI-led innovations will strengthen the platform’s ability to anticipate challenges, improve operational efficiency, and support a more autonomous digital workplace.

Partner-Led Strategy and MSP Focus: Greg Gyves

A key session of the summit was led by Greg Gyves, who outlined TeamViewer’s partner-led approach and its evolving strategy for MSPs. Gyves emphasised that the platform is designed with partners at the centre, prioritising their service offerings before technology. By providing a scalable, OS- and device-agnostic platform, TeamViewer seeks to enable MSPs to expand their service portfolios without adding unnecessary complexity or relying on multiple disconnected tools.

TeamViewer One aims to address the ‘tool sprawl’ challenge by offering a unified platform that consolidates remote access, monitoring, and automation. This integration allows partners to streamline operations, reduce repetitive tasks, and focus on delivering services rather than managing fragmented workflows. By putting the service first, TeamViewer aims to ensure that partners can focus on solving business challenges for their clients rather than juggling tools or patching together processes.

MSP Channel Insights also took the opportunity to speak directly with key figures at the summit, including Mark Banfield (CRO) and Alfredo Patron (EVP Global Partner Ecosystem and Channels), as well as Melissa MacDougall, Enterprise Sales Manager at partner MSP, SHI UK.

Mark Banfield noted, “It’s hard to think of any job that isn’t fundamentally dependent on technology today. And every workplace has become a digital workplace.” He added that hybrid working has increased the need to control, manage, and maintain complete visibility of devices. On the value for MSPs, he said, “For MSPs, we continue to innovate to provide those types of technologies where they get analytics, reporting, provisioning, and multitenancy.” Banfield further noted that TeamViewer One helps MSPs both demonstrate the value of their services, often only visible when problems occur, and maintain profitability and margins, reinforcing the business impact of the platform.

Alfredo Patron reinforced the platform’s unified, service-first approach, highlighting autonomous endpoint automation and a cohesive platform designed to improve predictability and digital experiences. He explained, “So what this is doing is empowering IT to become more proactive, more strategic. And more preventative, so you can identify issues before they happen and fix them before they experience frustration.” He also stressed the broader benefits for MSPs and partners, highlighting the importance of XLAs not just for end users but for partners as well.

Additionally, Melissa MacDougall, Enterprise Sales Manager at SHI UK, highlighted the value of the TeamViewer partnership from a reseller perspective. She explained, “We’re also seeing now more than ever that cost optimisation is a huge priority. That’s why having partners like TeamViewer is valuable - we work together to optimise customers end-user compute and workspace assets."

She also emphasised the importance of a holistic, outcome-driven approach for customers, stating, “We’ve all got to do better to deliver customer excellence. We need to take a holistic approach to our customers’ environments, looking at outcomes.” On security, she added, “With TeamViewer having autonomous endpoint protection, I feel like that is going to be absolutely crucial for our customers, security is always a top priority.”

Overall, the summit offered a comprehensive look at TeamViewer’s direction for MSPs and partners, with the launch of TeamViewer One at the centre of the discussions. Attendees saw how the platform’s unified approach, multi-tenancy capabilities, and AI-driven automation aim to simplify IT operations and support hybrid work. The sessions and interviews highlighted how partners can use these tools to work more proactively, reduce complexity, and consistently deliver value to their customers.
