Gearset, a prominent player in the DevOps sector for Salesforce, has unveiled its new flagship office located in the Cambridge Science Park. Retaining its base within the prime technological hub in Europe, Silicon Fen, this move follows Gearset’s significant growth story in 2024.
The latest development accommodates an increasing remote workforce, showcasing Gearset’s commitment to flexible work arrangements.
2024 was a watershed year for Gearset with a remarkable 49% surge in year-over-year revenue, attracting an influx of 800 new clients, thereby tallying up to an impressive client base of 3,500. Among these, 1,000 are distinguished Enterprise clients. The strategic acquisition of Clayton further enhanced Gearset’s DevOps suite, introducing advanced code reviews for Salesforce.
Expanding globally, Gearset saw a 50% increase in headcount across all offices, strengthening teams in Belfast, Chicago, and Cambridge. The opening of the new 16,000 square foot office, nearly doubling the previous space, aligns perfectly with the anticipated growth, offering an adaptable and collaborative environment.
Designed to promote cross-team interaction, the expansive open-plan layout embraces departmental neighbourhoods while providing spaces for intensive focus work. This reflects Gearset’s dedication to nurturing talent from top institutions such as Cambridge University, fostering innovation through flexible work setups.
Kevin Boyle, CEO and Co-founder of Gearset, said "Our new headquarters is where we will continue on our journey of setting the standard for Salesforce DevOps and building products customers love. The strength of Gearset's company culture, and the level of cross-company collaboration is key to our success. Our new office will ensure we have the right environment to foster even greater collaboration and open communication as we embark upon our next phase of growth"
