Accelerating hybrid IT and AI adoption: Digital Realty and Oracle's strategic alliance

Digital Realty and Oracle collaborate to enhance hybrid IT and AI capabilities, leveraging cloud and data centre technologies to streamline deployment and innovation.

Digital Realty, a renowned provider of cloud-neutral data centre solutions, has joined forces with Oracle to assist enterprises in accelerating adoption of hybrid IT and AI technologies. Through Oracle Cloud Solution Centers, equipped with advanced systems and global customer-experience sites, Digital Realty aims to expedite organisations' time-to-market and ease technology deployment.

“Our collaboration with Oracle underscores our shared commitment to helping customers navigate the complexity of hybrid IT and AI adoption. By leveraging our Pervasive Data Center Architecture (PDx®) and Oracle’s technologies, we’re bringing cloud and AI capabilities directly to the data, where customers need them. This will help our customers to achieve faster innovation, together with Oracle, reducing deployment friction and accelerating outcomes,” said Tony Bishop, Senior Vice President of Enterprise and Platform Solutions, Digital Realty.

Oracle Solution Centers, available through PlatformDIGITAL® in key locations such as Singapore, Frankfurt, and Northern Virginia, provide a secure environment for organisations to design and validate their hybrid and AI architectures. Furthermore, verified use cases and jointly developed deployment-ready architectures facilitate smoother technology adoption and fuel innovation.

Digital Realty, an Oracle FastConnect partner, extends its cloud-adjacent data centre, colocation, and interconnection services to worldwide clients, fostering a seamless integration between PlatformDIGITAL® and Oracle ServiceFabric®. This collaboration introduces three PDx® solutions, optimising data exchange in distributed IT infrastructures through a combination of innovative methodologies and toolkits tailored for Oracle's infrastructure.

  • Oracle Solution Centers: Facilitating secure foundation for architecture design and validation.
  • Verified Use Cases: A library of 15 configurations modernising IT frameworks.
  • Integrated Solutions: Introducing PDx® solutions for smooth PlatformDIGITAL® and ServiceFabric® integration.
  • Global Expertise: Expert teams offer guidance on deployment and data-driven solution adoption.

Customers have reported significant improvements due to this collaborative effort, exemplified by Grupo Anaya's reported reduction in latency and network costs by approximately 75% when leveraging Oracle FastConnect and PlatformDIGITAL®.

The Research Vice President at IDC Courtney Munroe said, "This collaboration between Digital Realty and Oracle is a strong example of how ecosystem partnerships can accelerate real world adoption of data driven infrastructure, from hybrid IT and AI. By combining global infrastructure with use cases, integrated solutions, and hand-on expertise, Digital Realty and Oracle are helping enterprise reduce complexity, shorten deployment timeline, and turn data into a strategic asset more quickly and effectively.
