BCS launches new Delivery Intelligence Service

BCS, the specialist services provider to the digital infrastructure industry, has launched a Delivery Intelligence Service which harnesses the power of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence, together with Project Controls, PMO and Project Delivery.

This data driven service, the first of its kind, optimises the process of Project Delivery from pre-construction through to handover, reducing time and increasing confidence in successful outcomes. It will also provide a strong foundation for the company’s growing use of AI moving forward.

Designed to consolidate and analyse the millions of data points across international data centre projects covering all areas of a programme including risk, cost and health and safety, it will use a bespoke range of tools to fully optimise and automate performance reporting functionality, ensuring that programmes remain on time and on budget. This will drive innovation at all stages of the project lifecycle, from initial dataflows, to the final close out and lessons learned.

The new automated solution will also free up valuable time for the BCS senior team which will be reinvested into supporting the company’s industry leading talent development programme which helps address the ongoing skills shortage in the sector, and to further build on its strong client relationships.

Russell Willis, Head of Data & Delivery Intelligence, BCS said: “Delivery Intelligence is the future for Project Controls and PMO, when combined with Data Analytics and Business Intelligence to form a holistic and cohesive optimisation methodology for successful Project Delivery. Utilising Data to connect, coordinate and empower, each core element will be individually optimised, as well as the coordinated domain of all, protecting the successful delivery of any commission with greater confidence than any single element, or the sum of all.”

Chris Coward, Director of Project Management at BCS, said: “Our new Delivery Intelligence service will ensure that our data foundations are stable, reliable, consistent, valid, autonomous and can be easily reproduced – which is vital for ensuring a strong foundation for our current and future AI programmes. As a result, the utilisation of this data will enable us to answer key business questions more quickly, accurately and reliably – enabling valuable insight and identifying key trends.”
