Orange Cyberdefense collaborates with Microsoft

Managed Workspace Protection for Microsoft 365 Defender to block attacks and enhance security posture simply and quickly.

Orange Cyberdefense has launched two managed security services that complement the security features of Microsoft 365 Defender and that are available to customers across all sectors. These new managed services supplement Orange Cyberdefense’s existing Managed Detection and Response service based on Microsoft Sentinel launched in 2022. Today’s launch is part of Orange Cyberdefense’s collaboration with Microsoft to provide managed services on top of Microsoft’s security solutions to customers.

Orange Cyberdefense, with its 130+ Microsoft certified experts, is already part of the Microsoft ecosystem as a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA). As remote and hybrid work modes become the norm, securing the hybrid workspace and blocking cyberattacks is now business critical. Awareness and preparation will help organizations balance the value of the new technology this brings against the cyber risk that Intelligence comes with it. These two new services enable companies of any size to get the most out of their investment in Microsoft 365 Defender by fully utilizing it according to best practices, keeping pace with the frequency of new features and crucially, improving security outcomes via Orange Cyberdefense’s proprietary threat intelligence.

24/7 Threat Detection, Incident Response and one of the EMEAs largest security teams

Managed Workspace Protection for Microsoft 365 Defender protects against the most common risks targeting organizations’ endpoints, identities, emails and web experience, with enrichment from Orange Cyberdefense Threat Intelligence to block the most advanced attacks. It also simplifies the cybersecurity management across all Defender modules and continuously improves security posture thanks to proactive secure score management and release management.

Managed Threat Detection [xdr] for Microsoft 365 Defender helps detect and investigate cyber-attacks at scale, 24/7, 365 days a year. It’s an all-in-one service providing security incident management, remote response, threat hunting and custom detection rules across all Microsoft 365 Defender modules.

Organizations opting for these managed services – as opposed to operating the solutions themselves – benefit from 24/7 Threat Detection and Response, access to one of EMEAs largest security teams, cohesive security across multiple solutions and environments and ongoing tool configuration, update and management.

Laurent Célérier, Executive Vice-President Technology & Marketing, Orange Cyberdefense said: “The launch of these two services is an important step forward to create a one-stop-shop for all Microsoft-related activities within Orange Cyberdefense to empower every organization to stay secure. Thanks to our investment in Microsoft, Orange Cyberdefense combines an intelligence-led managed services approach with best-of-breed technologies, experts and processes to help customers stay ahead of threats and invest resources where they will have the greatest impact. We can improve their security efficiency and threat visibility with our managed security services across Microsoft solutions.”

Shirley Strachan, Global Partner Development Strategy Leader, Security said: “Our global partner ecosystem is essential in helping customers achieve success with our solutions. We are pleased to expand our collaboration with Orange Cyberdefense as they combine an extended knowledge of Microsoft offerings and a vision for ensuring the success of our customers in their security journey.”
