Exponential-e launches Cloud Management Platform

Companies can now manage a multi-cloud environment via one interface.

Exponential-e has introduced its Cloud Management Platform (CMP). Exponential-e’s CMP places the cloud at the heart of corporate digital transformation projects. Companies are able to unify multi-cloud environments by viewing and managing the performance of their cloud services through one interface.

For the first time, businesses can create, visualise and link multi-cloud environments, enabling companies to change and migrate services between cloud platforms depending on the applications’ requirements. This brings agility and speed to both internally and externally-facing services. If businesses think that an application would perform better on a different service, with the click of a button they are able to migrate it.

Each cloud service can be assessed on how effectively it is supporting the business, leading to informed decisions regarding where to deploy cost and resources. Organisations that have an existing cloud infrastructure can immediately integrate this into the CMP and visualise all resources, from virtual machines through to applications. For those that are starting from scratch, the platform’s ‘Blueprint Factory’ enables them to pull different services out of the CMP in order to create a blueprint of the core application landscape and automate delivery of these.

Jonathan Bridges, Chief Innovation Officer, Exponential-e commented: “Everywhere you look, markets are being disrupted. Digital and data are reshaping the world around us, so if companies can’t understand how that impacts them and deliver their services in-line with the expectations of a new generation, they aren’t going to survive. Our CMP is the engine room for powering a new wave of innovative products and services by allowing companies to turn data into insight and become innovators in their marketplace.

“We’re offering complete visibility, management and control of the cloud. That insight is powerful, not just to cut costs, but also to help companies reengineer their future and be competitive in a noisy and demanding market place. Our CMP allows CIOs to take advantage of API-rich technology to create a new era of IT enablement, speed and agility – all through one interface,” Bridges continued.

Integrated with Exponential-e’s Software Defined WAN, Cyber Security Operations Centre, Managed Services and End User Collaboration, the CMP gives customers global reach, enhanced security to protect the business and a rich range of supporting services to speed up innovation and enhance end-user experience. Data policy and controls are also automated allowing for effective – and regulatory compliant – end-to-end lifecycle management.

Bridges concludes: “The future of business is the platform and the CMP helps companies build the digital platform that is right for them easily, whilst at the same time helping them to reimagine their business. It’s a force multiplier for businesses that want to go beyond the competition."
