Tieto to help ?F modernize IT infrastructure

Tieto has signed a four-year deal with Swedish engineering and consultancy firm ?F to modernize the company’s IT infrastructure around the world. The contract extends Tieto’s strategic partnership with ?F and will help the firm pursue its aggressive growth targets with the help of cutting-edge cloud services and workplace solutions

?F employs more than 9,000 people in 30 countries and has a strategic goal of increasing annual revenues to ˆ2 billion by 2020. The new deal, which goes into effect on July 1, means Tieto will deliver the state-of-the-art IT infrastructure that is needed to enable such rapid growth.
”Tieto is a provider we know very well and we trust them to deliver the solutions that will support our strategy for profitable growth and will allow our consultants to work globally and efficiently. Everything we do has to be global and mobile and we want to be early adopters of the technology that allows us to remain on the cutting edge,” says Lena Tollerz T?rn, CIO, ?F.
Tieto has served as an IT provider for ?F over the last decade, but the new deal will expand that partnership globally while providing ?F with holistic tools and services such as Tieto OneCloud.
Under the contract, Tieto will upgrade ?F's IT infrastructure in offices around the world across six different service areas, including Server and Storage through Tieto OneCloud. Tieto will also operate the company's networks and deliver workplace and conference room services, a complete service desk, and Service Integration and Management (SIAM) services.
"We are very excited about helping ?F on their expansion journey over the next four years, and are very proud to have retained their trust with a continued partnership. With this deal, ?F has again demonstrated its ambition to be at the forefront of technological developments that can make operations smoother and more efficient," says Johan Schelin, Sales Executive, Tieto Sweden.
