Pulsant appoints business advisory head for professional services

Pulsant has appointed Hazel Freeman to the position of head of business advisory services for its burgeoning professional services practice. Freeman’s role includes furthering the growth of the professional services practice, while also focusing on developing IT risk compliance and consultation around aligning IT and business strategy.

Freeman joins Pulsant from Arthur J Gallagher’s where she served as IT compliance manager tasked with implementing a new risk framework for the company’s international business, managing SOX compliance and external auditing.

With her varied roles within the industry, strength in IT risk and compliance, and experience in the financial services industry, she brings a great depth of expertise to Pulsant, with both the practice itself and our customers benefiting.”
 
In a career spanning almost twenty years, Freeman has worked for a number of well-known organisations. This includes the Royal and Sun Alliance (RSA) group where she fulfilled a number of roles in her eight-year tenure, including information security manager and IT audit and compliance consultant.
 
Freeman is a Prince II practitioner, with a CISM (certified information security manager) qualification and ITIL accreditations. She is based out of Pulsant’s London office.
