Silver Peak achieves VMware Ready status for NFV

Unity EdgeConnect sails through validation process proving unprecedented performance and flexibility.

Silver Peak’s SD-WAN offering, Unity EdgeConnect, has attained VMware Ready status for Network Functions Virtualisation (NFV). This designation indicates that after a detailed validation process EdgeConnect has achieved VMware’s highest level of endorsement, and can be found on the VMware Solution Exchange (VSX).
With Unity EdgeConnect achieving VMware Ready status for NFV, Silver Peak and VMware are providing partners and customers with a solution to rapidly and non-disruptively augment or replace their MPLS networks with any form of broadband connectivity. At its core, EdgeConnect provides high levels of performance, including broadband quality of service (QoS), as well as visibility into both legacy and cloud applications. With Silver Peak’s SD-WAN solution, IT organisations gain the unique ability to centrally assign business intent policies to secure and control all WAN traffic over any source of connectivity.
