Colt cloudScape by Siaras available to Colt data centre services customers

Colt will make cloudScape by Siaras available to its datacenter customers in June, 2016. By providing the cloudScape service, Colt Data Center Services will enable simplified access to private and public clouds, and the networks that inter-connect them.

Colt Data Center Services Vice President, Robin Brown, commented, "Though Colt no longer provides a direct IaaS offering, our data center customers are nonetheless asking for the ability to access both private and public clouds. We see cloudScape by Siaras as a powerful way for Colt DCS to bridge the gap between a direct cloud offering and cloud enablement. With cloudScape our customers can access multiple cloud services more easily, achieve better cost-effectiveness and business agility, and further leverage the colocation and network services we're providing to them."
"We are delighted to be working with Colt Data Center Services to offer cloudScape to their customers," said Vivek Ragavan, Chief Executive Officer of Siaras. "Enterprise customers are looking for a simplified approach to tie together diverse cloud and datacenter assets. By presenting multiple clouds as a single cloud, the cloudScape service provides advanced capabilities for cloud provisioning and bursting, as well as inter-cloud networking. Colt DCS customers will now be able to build, maintain, and scale multi-cloud services directly through cloudScape, creating new value for themselves, and their customers and stakeholders."
