Infinity SDC appoints Richard Wellbrock to drive client growth

Infinity SDC, the UK leader in data centre and colocation solutions, is today announcing the appointment of Richard Wellbrock as its new Commercial Director.

Richard will lead Infinity’s commercial strategy as it further develops its product portfolio and launches its latest data centre at Here East, the former Olympic Press and Broadcast Centre.

Richard, who has joined Infinity’s senior management team and reports directly to Infinity’s Chief Financial Officer John Thompson, brings with him a great deal of experience to the role, having moved following a successful nine year tenure at Global Switch; where he was Group Commercial Director and a member of its Executive Committee.

John Thompson, Infinity CFO, says, “We’re delighted Richard has joined Infinity as Commercial Director, particularly in such an exciting period of growth for the company. We’ve created a strong team with specific expertise, and Richard, with his unrivalled industry experience, gives us and our clients the best level of service.”

Richard adds, “I am excited by the opportunities Infinity has to further develop its ‘best in class’ data centre space in the London market. Infinity has an impressive customer list which clearly demonstrates its strong credentials and I look forward to working closely with a great team to build upon this success.”
