iDaCs launch tailor-made Containerised Mobile Data Centres (MDC’s)

iDaC Solutions Ltd is proud to announce the addition of custom-made containerised MDC’s to its product portfolio. Available in any length (from 10-40ft) and with custom design packages, they are able to accommodate a variety of applications and budgets.

These containerised Mobile Data Centres are based around the form-factor of a standard shipping container (ISO High-Cube) - making them easy to transport, modular (for scalability), low maintenance and physically robust. However, unlike other manufacturers’ solutions, which are made from adapted shipping containers, these units are purpose built in Germany. By making them to order, the client can specify every aspect of the build to ensure that the environmental, technical and space requirements of their project are met, without compromise.

Paul Cattell, Managing Director of IDAC Solutions Ltd is pleased to offer customers this additional product offering “Some of our global clients were looking for a MDC solution, but didn’t like the ‘one-size-fits all’ approach. We wanted to provide a quality solution, with unique features, that would fit well with our existing range of high performance cabling infrastructure solutions and that would offer greater flexibility for our customers. This product fitted the bill perfectly.”

They can be configured for any number of applications including; IT network expansion, disaster recovery, temporary use during refurbishments or as a stand-alone DC if clients don't have the option to build on site or a suitable building to convert. Due to the MDC being easily transported, they can be re-located to another area of the site or to a new facility if the company moves - protecting the long-term investment.

As the exclusive source of Datwyler Cabling Solutions in the UK and Ireland, iDaC Solutions can also offer client’s data centre cabling packages, design assistance and network enclosures if required.
