House of Fraser chooses BloomReach

Leading department store group, House of Fraser, announces a new partnership with technology platform company BloomReach in an effort to enhance customer experience on the retailers’ website.

BloomReach’s Organic Search solution is used by over 150 top US and UK Internet retailers to improve acquisition by ensuring that the most relevant content is visible to each visitor. The partnership is the latest development in House of Fraser’s on-going commitment to digital innovation, which sees them deploy the BloomReach Organic Search solution throughout House of Fraser’s e-commerce website (www.houseoffraser.co.uk).

Says Andy Harding, Chief Customer Officer at House of Fraser: “Our partnership with BloomReach is another important customer focused digital initiative for House of Fraser. BloomReach uses smart technology and big data to better match customer demand and desire with the products we sell on the web and is the latest step towards delivering the best multi-channel customer experience.”

BloomReach Organic Search is part of the BloomReach Platform, which understands and matches content on retailers’ sites to what people are seeking, across marketing channels and devices. BloomReach Organic Search specifically enhances content to make it more findable and relevant for users and indexable for search engines. For House of Fraser, BloomSearch Organic Search will optimise user experiences on the retailer’s site by delivering more relevant content and products to customers based on their intent, as well as increasing traffic and driving incremental sales to House of Fraser’s web store.

“Partnering with House of Fraser solidifies our growing presence in the UK market,” commented Head of Marketing and Partnerships, Joelle Kaufman. “Optimising content for organic search is virtually impossible at the scale that retailers like House of Fraser need. Our technology is helping House of Fraser build relevant and consistent experiences and giving them the tools to create new content that can be used across all of their channels.”

Head of SEO at House of Fraser, Jamie Peach, said: “We are delighted to have partnered with BloomReach and excited to deploy their Organic Search product. This represents a step-change in the sophistication of our SEO programme at House of Fraser, in our drive to become truly class leading in the retail SEO space.”
