Intralinks enters into strategic technology and go-to-market partnership with HP

Intralinks has joined the HP PartnerOne for Service Provider program and will leverage HP solutions and services to support Intralinks’ global data centres. The company is building its next-generation application architecture for secure content collaboration on HP Helion OpenStack technology. In addition, Intralinks and HP will work together to deliver secure enterprise collaboration and file sharing solutions to customers.

“Intralinks is a frontrunner in secure enterprise content collaboration, delivering trusted innovation that helps organisations to safeguard their invaluable intellectual property and other sensitive data,” said Paul Kaeley, vice president worldwide service providers, HP. “We welcome Intralinks to the HP PartnerOne for Service Provider program, and are pleased to provide technologies to give our joint customers secure and agile cloud solutions.”

The Intralinks VIATM secure enterprise collaboration and file sharing solution makes it safe and easy to share valuable information anywhere, on any device. Intralinks VIA combines the ease-of-use and productivity benefits of file sync and share services, while providing the document controls and management capabilities crucial for complying with the most stringent security policies and regulations.

“HP’s leadership in cloud with HP Helion solutions gives us yet another strategic advantage in delivering world-class, secure content collaboration solutions to enterprises worldwide,” said Ron Hovsepian, Intralinks CEO. “The go-to-market initiative with HP will enable us to significantly accelerate the global expansion of our business.”

“Across the rapidly evolving enterprise collaboration and file sync and share markets, customers are looking for solutions that drive productivity and teamwork, but also keep data secure and safe,” said Vanessa Thompson, research director, IDC. “The partnership of HP and Intralinks is mutual validation that both companies are able to meet these critical customer requirements.”
