Proact renews contract with Symbrio

Software company Symbrio is now extending its partnership with Proact with regard to IT infrastructure in the cloud. The new contract between the companies will involve greater flexibility in what is supplied to Symbrio.

Symbrio is a Stockholm-based software company employing more than 30 staff and specialises in the development of purchasing and invoice management systems. Proact has been supplying Symbrio with its IT infrastructure for a few years now, and supplies central computing power, storage and backup via a private cloud service.

Their partnership is now being extended by means of a renewed, three-year contract in which Proact is offering an even more flexible service which is adapted to suit the Symbrio business model and can be upscaled with ease. This will be a very cost-effective solution, in combination with the same high level of accessibility, security and performance offered by Proact Managed Cloud Services to all customers.

“IT accounts for a large percentage of our expenses, and we are constantly attempting to develop our procedures and processes so that we can work as efficiently as possible. This is why continuing to work with Proact as the supplier of our IT infrastructure is the natural choice. We are very pleased with their services and also maintain valuable communication – Proact are every bit as keen as we are to go on finding improvements,” says Johan Ouchterlony, CEO at Symbrio.

Proact’s solution for Symbrio is a virtualised IT environment which includes servers, a storage cluster with backup and load balancers. The equipment is supplied by Cisco, NetApp and Kemp.

“We are proud that Symbrio have chosen to invest their trust in us once again. We work hard on the further development of our cloud services here at Proact. We are sharpening up our services with market-leading flexibility and customised supply in order to handle the increasing competition on the market,” says Lena Eskilsson, regional manager at Proact.
