Arbor Networks partners with Zycko

Network security provider expands EMEA Distribution Channels.

Arbor Networks, Inc. is to partner with specialist IT distributor, Zycko, to improve the support and offerings to its EMEA resellers.

The partnership will enable Arbor Networks to offer greater support, additional training programmes and a dedicated Arbor Networks demonstration facility. Vitally, it will improve the service that the company provides its customers at all levels. The addition of Arbor Networks’ comprehensive DDoS and network security solutions to Zycko’s portfolio builds upon its existing network related performance, optimisation and security offering.

“Teaming with Zycko will really bring added-value to our resellers. The partnership will enable us to offer better services and support, by tapping into Zycko’s extensive understanding of the enterprise reseller market,” said Richard Brown, Director for EMEA Channels and Alliances at Arbor Networks.
“We are looking forward to Zycko becoming an extension of the Arbor Network’s team. Network security has never been as important as it is today, and focusing our distribution through the channel market will enable greater customisation and specialisation of our solutions.

“With reports of DDoS attacks on high-profile organisations appearing regularly in the news, the demand for a solution that detects and mitigates network-based threats is high on the agenda for all companies,” said David Galton-Fenzi, CEO, Zycko. “As a global leader in network security with a unique and innovative market offering, Arbor Networks is an ideal fit for Zycko as a specialist in bringing next-generation technologies to the channel. Arbor Networks is a key addition to Zycko’s portfolio of solutions that identify performance issues and provide the analytics to pinpoint their specific causes, enabling fast and effective resolution of problems.”

Arbor Network’s partner portal will include functionality enhancements to improve features and reports. It will also refine rebates to allow top-tier partners to benefit more based on quarterly targets, as well as expanding its online partner training schemes.

The addition of Arbor Networks to Zycko’s portfolio of solutions means that its vendors can benefit from the company’s comprehensive DDoS and network security solutions. Cyber-threats on organisations are becoming increasingly common, and the provision of complete network security in the EMEA channel market is vital.
