C4L’s Connectivity helps partner deliver cloud access solutions

Securus, the private wide area network provider, has been utilising C4L’s Colocation and Connectivity services, including IP Transit, to give their customers multiple access routes to their cloud infrastructures. Securus’ view that access to the cloud is of critical importance, has seen them design a triple resilience solution for Cloud platforms by using Fibre, Copper and 4G cellular technologies. This enables them to offer a service not readily available elsewhere in the market, along with an impressive 100% SLA.

The uptake in this resilient solution with fibre, copper and cellular auto failovers has been key to a phenomenally successful 2014, with two significant business wins in 2015 already. Securus and their ethos of ‘if cloud is offline a cloud based customer’s world freezes’, plan to utilise C4L’s coreTX network to expand further. International solutions are also required in France and Germany and again these will be supported, as normal, by C4L.

Pete Hill, New Business Director: “At the beginning of Securus’ search, they approached many different infrastructure service providers, but when they ‘lifted the bonnet’ they were not satisfied. They wanted to get services directly from the main infrastructure providers and recognised that they were best coming straight to C4L for their infrastructure – and I am delighted to have seen such a quick growth for them, it is well deserved”

Brett Rowe, MD of Securus: “We took an extensive and analytic route on who to use as our provider, we were not seeking the cheapest one-off solution, instead we focussed on a long term business relationship. With C4L we have an excellent partnership, even though our requirements are rarely off-the-shelf, I know we can throw C4L an idea will get it back with bells on, which we have never had with a supplier before. Because of this, we utilise C4L as a Strategic Partner. Our future plans depend on them, nothing we have sold has been undeliverable thanks to their platform and the CoreTX network”
