Customer experience monitoring capabilities from CA Technologies included as part of SAP® extended diagnostics

CA Technologies says that its customer experience monitoring technology has been added as part of the SAP® Extended Diagnostics application by CA. With the inclusion of these capabilities, the SAP solution now combines deep diagnostics with customer experience monitoring so that organizations can better understand the health and performance of their applications and gain insight into a user’s experience of these applications.

The SAP Extended Diagnostics application enables customers to monitor the performance of applications from the business process down to the transaction-component level in real time. With these added capabilities, customers can improve product quality by identifying, prioritising and resolving problems before their end users are affected.

“To succeed in the application economy and create inspiring business interactions, IT organizations must have easy-to-use tools that provide a unified view into their end-users’ experience with their applications,” said Matt LeRay, vice president, business unit executive, Enterprise Management, CA Technologies. “Users of SAP Extended Diagnostics now have access to the monitoring technology that is part of CA’s leading Application Performance Management (APM) solution. This will help them to align performance with business goals and deliver consistent value.”

“CA Technologies has been working with SAP since 2008 to help customers gain increased visibility into large and complex Java and .NET environments,” said Rayn Veerubhotla, vice president, Technology Partners & Business Development, SAP. “Extending customer experience monitoring is another important step in our partnership, through which we are helping to provide powerful solutions that support the needs of our customers.”
