Latest release of Autotask Remote Monitoring & Endpoint Management now available

Autotask brings remote monitoring and endpoint management together with its IT Business Management platform to provide customers with continued innovation and value. With the rapid expansion of Internet-enabled technology and devices, it is critical for technology service providers to manage a full range of endpoints including servers, smartphones and networked devices to keep them secure, stable and compliant.

Through a highly scalable, cloud-based platform, Autotask Endpoint Management (AEM) delivers visibility and control of all endpoints, over any network, across multiple operating systems, including Windows, OSX, Linux, iOS and Android. AEM handles these complexities in a streamlined, easy-to-use interface that improves efficiencies and profitability.

Highlights of this release include:
· Ticket and remote takeover (RTO) integration including use of Autotask LiveLinks
· SNMP monitoring to include devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, SANs and other networking devices that support SNMP
· Discovery, population and continual updating of all managed assets in Autotask’s Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
· Software management policies for mobile devices
· Automatic round trip ticket generation and alert closure between Autotask’s IT business management platform and AEM

“Autotask is dedicated to providing a platform that both meets and exceeds our customers’ expectations for simplicity, reliability and scalability,” said Ian van Reenen, General Manager of Endpoint Management Engineering, Autotask. “Our goal with this release is to showcase the power of our integration and provide exceptional value to our customers by improving their overall business and service operations with a more effective and efficient way to manage endpoints across their entire IT estate.”
