Lantronix and Server Technology form alliance

Lantronix, Inc. has formed a technology and marketing alliance with Server Technology, a leading producer of high-quality rack mount power distribution units (PDU) and power monitoring solutions, to promote the integration and interoperability of the companies’ advanced hardware and software technologies. As part of the alliance, Lantronix is releasing a free firmware upgrade for the Lantronix® SLC™ console manager, enabling direct interoperability with Server Technology Power Distribution Units (PDU).

Lantronix has made the free firmware upgrade available on its support page for customers to download for SLC console managers with firmware v5.4 and v5.5. Once downloaded and installed, the firmware allows users to seamlessly access, control and manage Server Technology power distribution solutions via Lantronix console management products. The upgrade also provides a variety of central management performance updates.
