Allied Telesis, a global provider of secure IP/Ethernet switching solutions and an industry leader in the deployment and provision of IP Triple Play networks and networking infrastructures, has restyled its partner portal. As part of this initiative, the Allied Telesis Star Partner Program has been renewed to provide a range of value added marketing tools and benefits for star partners.

Allied Telesis is currently working with approximately 300 active resellers in the UK and is looking to expand its network with more partners that specialise in all areas, especially education, security and defence sectors. Resellers are able to offer the full Allied Telesis product portfolio, including the latest x-Series switches; supporting the modern enterprise network core, where resiliency, reliability and high performance are key.

The Allied Telesis Star Partner Program provides the opportunity for the channel to share in marketing support, promotional materials, and training and events. The Star Partner Program offers level 1, 2 and 3-star access status, with incentives and benefits in place for partners to aspire to achieving higher levels.

All partners receive digital marketing support such as co-branded literature, joint mailers and newsletters and much more. Through engagement in joint projects and other initiatives, partners are able to progress to 2-star and 3-star status where they can access a programme of webinars, joint events and a rebate programme, as well as support with communicating their offering to customers.

“Allied Telesis values the partnership arrangements that it currently has in place with organisations across EMEA,” said James Blumlein, UK Sales Director, Allied Telesis. "It is our intention to reward our partners by offering a range of benefits that will encourage them to deepen their relationship with us, grow their offerings and support their customers.

“In the UK, Allied Telesis is looking to work with resellers who can offer our core chassis and switches to all markets, including security and education industries, as networks evolve. Modern education networks, for example, are becoming more complex to serve a rapidly developing set of requirements from e-learning, remote online applications and new teaching methods. Schools must provide an efficient, effective and secure computing environment to serve its entire community and need to do so within limited budgets.

“The security market is also changing; the emergence of IP video surveillance has increased reliance on the network, and this presents a huge opportunity for the channel. Allied Telesis is committed to helping its partners maximise on these opportunities and grow their businesses in these specialised markets.

“We are particularly interested in those who want to offer resilient, green equipment as well as cost savings to their customers; who could work alongside us and our other Eco System supplier partners,” added Blumlein.

By establishing new partnerships with even more organisations and strengthening the partnership programme Allied Telesis hopes to offer even more benefits in the future.
