ExtraHop signs SMT as first certified partner for Benelux

New channel partnership expands ExtraHop’s European presence, provides expert consultancy, sales and implementation services to streamline IT operational intelligence.

ExtraHop, a leader in real-time wire data analytics for IT operational intelligence, has selected SMT, a specialist in IT management, as its first certified partner serving the Benelux region. With offices in the Netherlands and Belgium, SMT works with over 100 large clients, including major public sector and financial services organisations, to implement solutions that improve the performance, availability, and security of their IT architectures. As one of Splunk’s largest European partners, SMT brings deep expertise in IT operations analytics to its relationship with ExtraHop.

Michiel Toes, co-founder and Sales & Marketing Director at SMT said, “ExtraHop provides a perfect fit within our portfolio. It’s the first platform that effectively mines wire data in real-time, delivering business-critical operational intelligence across increasingly dynamic IT environments. Moreover, ExtraHop’s wire data analytics are a perfect complement to Splunk, supplementing machine log data to provide total visibility into application and service delivery.”

Technical teams from SMT have undergone extensive training on the ExtraHop portfolio and are now certified to offer consultancy, sales and implementation services across the Benelux region. In addition, SMT will be demonstrating the power of the ExtraHop platform at the upcoming Splunk Live! event on the 15th of October in Amsterdam.

“IT environments are becoming more complex as virtualization, cloud, and mobility take hold, and traditional sources of visibility, including log and agent data, are no longer sufficient to deliver crucial intelligence on their own,” Owen Cole, VP of EMEA Sales for ExtraHop. “Wire data is a key source of insight into the performance, availability, and security of IT applications and services, enabling organizations to pinpoint and solve problems in real-time, even in dynamic environments. SMT understands the business value of this deep operational intelligence and we welcome them to our growing European community.”

Over the past year, ExtraHop has delivered to market a host of new solutions built to provide industry-leading visibility into the performance, availability, and security of IT environments. In August, the company announced the Persistent Monitoring Architecture, a joint solution with Arista Networks enabling real-time, persistent mobile visibility into hyper-dynamic, software-defined environments.

In April, the company introduced its EH8000 flagship appliance, providing real-time L2–L7 application transaction analysis at a sustained 20Gbps with up to 400,000 transactions per second. ExtraHop also developed the first agentless Citrix VDI monitoring solution verified as Citrix Ready® for Citrix XenDesktop®, Citrix XenApp™, and Citrix NetScaler®.
