Fusion Media Networks select Volta’s Great Sutton Street Data Centre

Fusion Media Networks (Fusion), a managed services and security provider for businesses, has selected Volta's Great Sutton Street Data Centre to meet the demand for the rapid expansion of its network services.

Volta’s Great Sutton Street Data Centre is one of Central London’s most connected and resilient facilities. Catering to the requirements of latency-sensitive users in the telecoms, financial services, media and technology industries, Volta Great Sutton Street is ideally located in close proximity to the financial services community in the City, the entrepreneurial community of TechCity and the West End media community.

The combination of Volta’s 33kV diverse power supply and range of carriers with their own fibre connectivity makes the Great Sutton Street Data Centre the most resilient in central London.

Commenting on the decision, Julian King, Commercial Director, Volta, said: “We are delighted that Fusion has chosen our Great Sutton Street Data centre to ensure their network infrastructure continues to deliver market-leading performance. The data centre has completed a multi-million pound refurbishment, offering all the unique advantages of a great location, the highly resilient and diverse power supply and connectivity in the building, with an ever expanding number of carriers on site.

Specialists in Network and Security Services, Fusion has aggregated the services of best-in-class carriers to create a state-of-the-art Ethernet infrastructure and ranks amongst the UK’s top 5 providers of network connectivity, nationally and across Europe. With this high-speed, resilient capability, Fusion is now focused on a programme of new service launches, of which an innovative range of Virtual Data Centre services is the most recent.

Lee Norvall, CTO at Fusion, added: “We have invested in the latest technology to ensure our network infrastructure delivers market-leading performance and we are confident that Volta’s Great Sutton Street Data Centre will meet our demanding requirements for high speed connectivity and ultra-low latency. We guarantee our customers the highest service levels, and Volta will enable us to maintain that commitment. ”
