Gigamon Inc. has released its new Gigamon Visibility App for Splunk, which provides Visibility Fabric health and analytics, as well as visibility and troubleshooting of Gigamon infrastructure within a Splunk environment. Complementing this, the company launched a new application for GigaVUE-FM, “FabricVUE Traffic Analyser,” which provides fabric-centric traffic visualisation that helps identify top conversations, applications and network traffic end-points.

Huawei has launched its next-generation data center network architecture, Open Cloud Fabric (OCF), at its Huawei Cloud Congress (HCC) 2015 event. Designed for Web Scale IT cloud data centers, the architecture decouples traditionally closed networks across three distinct planes that Huawei can then support through a related suite of speed-enhancing switches, controllers and applications.
